IPL Technology

Intense Pulsed Light

IPL technology represents a technological breakthrough for the treatment of various benign skin conditions including unwanted hair, facial blemishes, signs of sun-related aging, broken veins and other skin defects.

We believe that Intense Pulsed Light technology is the most innovative solution on the market - gentle on the skin, non-invasive and suitable for the majority of skin types.

At the first glance, you will be attracted by the design of the appliance. Soon, you will be won over by its ease of use, its user-friendly touch screen and your clientele will enjoy the virtual lack of sensation associated with the administration of the flash itself.

Technology condensed into a compact format

Imagine that you could access the latest technology in a compact format. The ultimate achievement of this miniaturization brings together the best elements of pulsed light technology and is the subject of a number of patents.

E>O range of IPL are no heavier than 15kg and can be carried on a customised suitcase. The E>One for home use weights 6kg only.

Intense Pulsed Light technology

Our E>O range of IPL devices is using the 3rd and latest generation of Intense Pulsed Light technology.

This unique French technology is patented by its manufacturer E-Swin.

The lamp-flash technology, also called ‘square pulse’, is based on an electronically controlled flash spread on a longer time period (called pulse width) at an optimised flash intensity (called fluence).

This technology is a significant breakthrough in the beauty industry. It is more efficient and safer than traditional IPL equipment.

Unlike 70% to 80% of commercial IPL used in beauty salons in Australia and New Zealand, the E>O IPL machines have safety features that keep the flash intensity stable during the whole flash emission.

In conventional IPL devices the energy going through the lamp varies during its pulse; at its peak the energy of the light is too high and increases the risks of burn and scaring.
With the ‘pure’ flash emitted by the E>O devices these risks are reduced dramatically and this is one of the reasons why our IPL hair removal equipments can be used on dark skin phototypes IV and V.

There are no less than 12 safety features in the device to insure its reliability.

Its technology has been proven to be effective through numerous clinical trials and approved by tens of thousands of customers around the world.
